Intermittent Fasting & 12-hour Shifts: A How-To Video

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve heard me talk about IF (intermittent fasting) before. I have fully embraced this as a way of living and I highly recommend it.

I’ve shared my progress (and struggles) with you from the very beginning. If you’re new here, you can read more about my IF journey and check out my Diary from week 1 , or see my thoughts from weeks 2 & 3 as I progress with IF.

Today, I am excited to share even more with you!

I was recently asked to do a short video interview related to intermittent fasting, particularly as it applies to healthcare and other careers where you work long shifts.

I know first-hand how challenging it can be when you are first starting out with IF or trying to figure out your ideal eating window, especially working long hours and crazy shifts. So I am here to ease your nerves!

Autumn Elle, the brains and science behind the Intermittent Fasting protocol I follow, asked me to answer some of the most common questions about how I utilize IF as a healthcare professional.

She put together a Youtube video with my responses and I am excited to share it with you today! It’s a really great place to start for anyone who is curious about IF, but isn’t sure how to ‘do it‘ when working long shifts.

The video is encouraging and has great tips to help you get started on your Intermittent Fasting journey. Give it a watch and then get started! I’ve linked it HERE so you can easily find it.

Confession: this was my first time filming anything for Youtube. Cue all the nerves!! Being on camera is very new to me, but I had such a blast putting this together and know you’ll enjoy it!  More to come as I get more comfortable being on camera.

Autumn also has lots of other great YouTube videos on intermittent fasting so definitely check those out if you still have questions! If you are excited and ready to start IF, check out the Intermittent Fasting Bundle on the Autumn Elle Nutrition website. It’s the exact plan I follow!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
