Intermittent Fasting & 12-hour Shifts: A How-To Video

Hi friends!

As most of you know, I have been following IF (intermittent fasting) for a few months now. It’s safe to say I have fully embraced this as a way of both eating and living.

I have shared my progress with you from the beginning. You can read more about my journey HERE and HERE. Today, I am excited to share even more as I continue this lifestyle!

Recently, I was asked to do a short interview related to intermittent fasting, particularly as it applies to healthcare and other careers where you work long shifts. I know that long days can be tricky (I’m looking at you 12+ hours at the hospital), especially when you are first starting out with IF or trying to figure out your ideal eating window etc.

Autumn Elle, the brains and science behind the Intermittent Fasting protocol I follow, asked me to answer some of the most common questions about how I utilize IF as a healthcare worker.

She put together a Youtube video with my responses and I am excited to share it with you today! It’s a really great place to start for anyone who is curious about IF, but isn’t sure how to ‘do it‘ when working long shifts.

I’ve linked it HERE so you can easily find it. Autumn also has lots of other great YouTube videos on intermittent fasting so definitely check those out too!

If you find yourself excited and ready to start IF, check out the Intermittent Fasting Bundle on her website. It’s the exact plan I follow!

Now, onto the video! It’s my first time filming anything on video and I’m super excited to share this with all of you!  Filming myself is definitely new to me, but I had such a blast putting this together and know you’ll enjoy it!  More to come for sure!

The video is encouraging and has great tips to help you get started on your Intermittent Fasting journey, even if you don’t think you can do it because you work long shifts! It’s possible, I promise! Give it a watch and then get started!

I’d love to hear your feedback and if you have additional questions, please let me know! I’d be happy to explain further or go into more detail to help!

Stay tuned for another article with even more details where I answer questions that have already come up since the video first went live!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
